Video Star - A Complete Guide to Beginners to use Video Star !

If you ever wanted to make your own music video, now you can. All you need is an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and the Video Star apps. You can pick any song you want, add your own video, then edit it with a variety of effects. You can even upload it to the web. Who knows, you might even see it go viral.

Go to the App Store and type in, "Video Star." It should come up as a free app. Wait for it to download, and then tap the icon on your screen to create your fantastic music video.

This should take you to your music library. Select the song you want by touching it on the screen. If you don't have any songs to use, you can tap the music note symbol next to the plus sign. This will bring you to a list of songs that are currently featured on the app and free for you to use.

A screen should come up saying either "Cancel", "Adjust", or "OK". If you'd like to change the speed or pitch of the song, click on "Adjust". If you like the song the way it is, press "OK".

You probably don't want to record in a dirty bathroom, or with your parents lounging on the couch in the background. Or, maybe you do. Choose some place that fits the song, or just makes for a colorful backdrop.

Style your hair crazy, or dress up. If you are making a video of a song by Katy Perry, you might want to try to dress like Katy Perry, too. You will like your video more if you have fun making it.

While recording, or beforehand, you can choose interesting effects to enhance your videos. You can select from the factory effects, or make your own by scrolling to the end of the effects tab, and pressing, "New FX".

The app will countdown for three seconds before it begins recording. You can press the button next to the timer if you want to set the recording to automatically stop after a specific amount of time. Using the timer can enable you to keep your hands free during your recording. To stop recording, press stop.

To edit the video's speed itself, go to "Modify Last". You can select different ways to speed up or slow down your production. You can also trim the video to chop off some of the beginning or end, or split the video into multiple segments.

Use the slider to adjust the speed or length of the clip. Click "Apply" to view a preview of the clip. Click "DONE" when you are finished. You can press the scissors icon, then arrow over to the scene to which you want to add a clip. Select "New" and "Record."

Go to the main menu. Under the video that you created there should be a button that looks like a box with an arrow pointing up. Press this and it will see the option to send to YouTube or Instagram. Do this if you'd like. You might even be featured on Video Star's video page!

You can send a copy to your friends through an email attachment. Due to the file size restrictions of most email providers, Video Star will prompt you to compress the file.

If you want to keep your video, you can select "Send to Camera Roll." This will store your video on your phone so you can access it later. You won't be able to edit a video later, so be sure it's finished first.
